Superfood Matcha Latte

This superfood matcha latte has become one of my morning go-to’s. I’m usually hungry when I wake up, so I have this while I do my morning workout – and then breakfast later!

It’s super quick and thanks to The Beauty Chef’s Cleanse Powder, and of course, the natural goodness of matcha, packed with nutrients!

Matcha is packed with antioxidants like EGCg, and it also provides selenium, magnesium and zinc. This makes it extra healing post-hormonal birth control, since HBC depletes these exact minerals from your system. Antioxidants are also super important for your skin health and can help ameliorate severe acne, which can be an unpleasant side effect of transitioning off the pill.

Superfood Matcha Latte

A delicious latte with packed-with-nutrients Cleanse Powder + Matcha!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp The Beauty Chef Cleanse Powder
  • 2 tsp Matcha Powder
  • 1 tbsp Collagen powder optional
  • to taste Stevia optional
  • 3/4 cup almond or oat milk

Instructions
 

  • Place powdered ingredients and stevia (if using) in bottom of a large mug. Boil enough water to cover ingredients and mix thoroughly (about 3 tbsp). Once water is boiling, pour over ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Steam approximately 3/4 cup milk or milk substitute of choice and fill mug, mixing steamed milk with the matcha mixture.
